For this special commission from The New Craftsmen, we worked with pre-eminent UK furniture designer, Sue Skeen. Working from her design, the Red Stumpy bench in Douglas fir and leather was hand-painted in oil-based paint, and finished in a hand-stitched leather backrest by Otzi founder, Otis Ingrams. This piece was one of only five in a one-off range entitled Common Parts, which set out to showcase traditional skills of makers from the British Isles.
