The studio was commissioned to create a range of bags for the launch of Olympus's Pen-F mirrorless camera system in 2016. The camera was mirrorless, and we aimed to reference this in the design, with a stitchless and seamless bag folded together from a single panel. Hand lacing and riveting held the bags together, while natural cork fabric provided the lining; naturally water repellent and dustproof. The bodies of the bags and straps were made from a firm vegetable tanned leather, recalling turn-of-the-century French tool bags.
