Warranty Policy

At Otzi, we take pride in the quality and craftsmanship of our handmade furniture. To ensure your satisfaction, we offer a limited warranty on our products under the terms and conditions described below.

  1. Warranty Coverage

    1. This warranty covers manufacturing defects in materials and workmanship for one year from the date of delivery.

    2. This warranty applies only to the original purchaser and is non-transferable.

    3. This warranty covers issues which may affect the integrity and function of the furniture.

  2. Exclusions

    1. This warranty does not cover:

      1. Normal wear and tear, including but not limited to scratches, scuffs, and fading.

      2. Damage resulting from improper care, misuse, or accidents, including exposure to excessive moisture, heat, direct sunlight, or harsh chemicals.

      3. Changes in natural materials over time (e.g., slight colour changes in wood or leather due to natural ageing).

      4. Variations in colour, texture, and natural markings in materials such as wood and leather, which are characteristics of handcrafted furniture.

      5. Modifications, repairs, or alterations made by anyone other than Otzi.

  3. Warranty Claims

    1. If you believe your item is eligible for a warranty claim, please contact us at studio@otzi.ltd within 30 days of noticing the issue.

    2. To process your claim, we will require:

      1. Proof of purchase (receipt or order confirmation);

      2. Photographs and a detailed description of the issue.

    3. After assessing your claim, we will determine the appropriate resolution, which may include repair, replacement, or refund, at our discretion.

  4. Resolution Options

    1. Repair: We will repair the defect if feasible. For items within the UK, we may arrange for an in-home repair or arrange for the item to be returned to our workshop. For international customers, repair arrangements may vary.

    2. Replacement: If repair is not possible, we may replace the item with the same model. If the model is discontinued, we may offer a similar product of equal value.

    3. Refund: In cases where repair or replacement is not feasible, a partial or full refund may be issued, at our discretion.

  5. Limitations of Liability

    1. Otzi is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from the use of our products.

    2. Our liability is limited to the replacement, repair, or refund of the product under this warranty. This warranty does not affect your statutory rights.

    1. To help maintain the longevity of your furniture, please refer to our Materials page on our website, which includes recommendations for cleaning, positioning, and general care.
