The Mochi Easy Chair draws on traditional and varied types of leatherwork. Large panels of material offset the Mochi’s exposed, timber frame. Woven leather cord offers comfortable support to the upholstery, wrapped whole around the interior to achieve the seamless appearance that gives the Mochi its quiet elegance. Heavy straps on the backrest anchor the cushion to its solid wooden frame, giving the piece a contemporary feel even as they draw on the tradition of the early 20th century.
